幽霊の出るホテル

コモドールホテルは1854年に建てられ、第一次世界大戦の負傷者や犠牲者のための病院や仮設の死体安置所として使用されていました。戦争中にここで亡くなった負傷者の幽霊とは別に、宿泊客は上の部屋で赤ん坊の不気味な泣き声を聞いたと報告しています。その赤ん坊の遺体は、1900年代に部屋のひとつでスーツケースに入れられたまま捨てられているのが見つかったと言われています。また、若いイギリス軍の大尉がこのホテルで命を落とした頃、説明のつかない気温の低下があったそうです。
