Qステーションは、美しいロケーションと素晴らしい眺めを誇るかもしれませんが、かつての検疫所として、非常に暗い歴史を持っています。1832年、病気にかかった初期の移民を隔離するために建てられたこの駅は、多くの人にとって恐怖の場所であり、オーストラリアで最も呪われた場所の1つと言われています。猩紅熱、天然痘、腸チフス、コレラ、スペイン風邪などで600人近くが亡くなっています。Qステーションのスタッフが自ら企画するゴーストツアーもあり、かつての病院、死体安置所、医師や看護師の宿舎を散策しながら、超常現象を目撃したり、怪談を聞いたりしたいと願う人々に人気のあるエリアです。ただし、このツアーが行われるホテルの心霊スポットは、宿泊施設とは別の場所にあるので、幽霊に会うことが目的でない場合は、心配する必要はない。
