詳細: self isolations areas and rooms are designated for all those who have to self isolate with a high temperature while cover -19 tests can be conducted and doctors visits and recommendations can be established and support is given. All positive cases are to self isolate for 14 days and the department of health and labour is to be informed.

Covid-19 Safety Plan -
At Ivory Wilderness our Guests and staff’s safety is paramount. By following the TBCSA (Tourism business council of South Africa ) and adhering to international and local policies and guidelines we are committed in ensuring a safe , healthy and comfortable environment for all. By implemented safety policies and procedures, utilisation of powerful and proven cleaning products, trained staff and briefing all guest on how to remain safe and how to respect the safety of other guests and staff, we endeavour to offer a healthy, safe and comfortable environment for all.
* Safety officers have been established to train staff, educate and brief guests on safety procedures and will be on site at all times to monitor and ensure the highest quality and standards are adhered to.
* Guests are requested to provide a Covid-19 test result, Tested within 30 -40 days of arrival if possible.
* Guests are given the option for no in-room housekeeping during their stay.
* All staff and guests are to adhere to social distancing guidelines of 1,5 - 2 meters at all times. Lodge protocol and environment has been adapted to support social distancing.
* As usual guests will be seated at separate tables and seated in separate sitting areas.
* Staff are trained and issued safety equipment and cleaning products to ensure hygiene.
* Appropriate Sanitary stations will be put in place for guest and staff to utilise with disinfecting routines put in place. Including , but not limited to kitchen stations, communal areas, indoor and outdoor sittings areas, private rooms, game viewers and walking backpacks.
* All surfaces will be cleaned with appropriately proven products after each and every use. Including , but not limited to luggage, kitchen stations, communal areas, indoor and outdoor sittings areas, private rooms, game viewers.
* Rooms have a 24 hour rest period between guests.
* Every morning and afternoon guests will have their temperature taken and recorded from a contactless temperature recorder and have their oxygen levels tested with an oximeter.
* Guest showing signs of a high temperature or low oxygen levels will be asked to not join any activity and will be isolated in a Covid-19 holding room and subject to a prompt testing for Covid-19.
* Activities will be limited to one or two groups ( max 4-6 guests or one group ) with safety procedures and social guides put in place. Including but not limited to separate sundowners and food stations per group and empty rows placed between groups.
* Invoices and proof of receipt, will not be printed but will be emailed to guests.
* Pay points which require physical handling will be handled in gloves and guests are welcome to use other contactless payment methods offered.
* Guests may also settle invoices using our payment links on our website prior to departure.
* All staff are houses on the premises and public transport limited.
* All staff will not be subject to temperature and oxygen screening and monitored three times a day or on each and every shift.
* All staff, guest, drivers and visitors information will be stored and kept including their travel details of where they came from and where they are traveling to, they will also be subject to temperature and oxygen screening.
* All owners, directors, managements , staff and transport services will sign a commitment to adhere to the protocols.
* Upon check in all guest are required to fill in and sign a medical and travel deceleration.
* Guests will be required to bring and wear their own masks except while in their bedroom and eating. Masks will also be available for guests.
* All staff are to wear protective masks and gear at all times except for staff on personal meal time.
* Swimming pool’s chlorine levels are to be strictly monitored to ensure the correct level of safety and general hygiene. Social distancing regulations are to upheld when utilising the swimming pool facilities.
* Guest arriving by shuttle service are not to utilise the the front passenger seat to ensure safety.
* Only guests from the same group are able to share a motor vehicle for the purpose of self drive.
* As usual no buffet style dinning is available and all food is plated and served directly.
* Guests suspected of Covid-19 or who test positive will be subject to medical practicians advise and self isolate individually in a dedicated isolation room.
* Any areas, vehicles , rooms surfaces linked to a confirmed or suspected Covid-19 case will be subject to a clinical deep clean with the recommended cleaning products and guidelines.
* Through tracing services if a prior guest is reported or suspected with Covid-19 any related area, room, surface or vehicles will undergo a clinical deep clean.
* All guests traveling with a confirmed case and staff who have come in contact with a positive Covid-19 case are to be tested and go into a 14 day isolation.
* All staff are to be tested for Covid-19 before coming back to work, positive cases can not return to work.
* Any staff showing signs of Covid-19 are to be monitored in isolations and cases of staff testing positive are not to enter the premiss and be isolated either at home or isolate in a designated area and room with medical support and recommendations.
* In the case that a staff member is tested positive all staff on site are to be tested and self isolate for 14days. In such and all risk cases the department of health and labour is to be informed.
* All goods and produce are sanitised before arrival to the premises and before use.
