1613年にレ・ミニメ修道会によって設立され、2000年まで現役の修道院として活動を続けていました。当時のクーバンの生活では、植物の栽培と研究が重要な位置を占めていた。フランス革命後、ミニーム修道院は1862年まで無人のままでしたが、フォルカルキエの大司祭であるテラソン師が修道院をホスピスに変えました。その後、歴代の住人が果樹やブドウの木、ナスタチウム、フクシアなどを栽培し、現在も敷地は緑に覆われている。
